| A-12 Model The A-12, like the A-1, has a graceful, flowing shape. It is not as deep as most 12-string guitars so it is very comfortable to hold. The sound of the A-12 is unique among 12-strings. It has a sound that is at once powerful, very warm, rich and full. The Engelmann top (standard on the A-12) adds a smooth response to this powerful guitar. The A-12 has a carbon-graphite rod on either side of the truss rod, making the neck very rigid; excellent for using alternate tunings such as DADGAD. The neck shape is fast and very comfortable in the hand.
